I wanted to try a different eye shape today... I like how it came out but I can't get the two eyes even, so that's why there is a lack of macro'd close eye shots. I gotta fix it before I go out later!

Beachy Look

I picked up a new lipstick from CVS last night and wanted to use it.
Seriously, this lipstick is love. I think it's everything I wanted Vegas Volt from Mac to be. I liked VV, but indoors it was so pastel and with my skintone, it made me look sickly. The Milani lipstick is similar in color but not as pastel, and has a beautiful gold sheen that is just gorgeous for the summer.

Two more things: Let me just say that I hate my cheeks in this look. Blecht!
Second, I tried out a new mascara. It's pretty fail. I may return it.

Oh, and third... please excuse the rank eyebrows. I'm due to do something to them... again... I think I'm gonna go hunting for clear brow gel/mascara and do a major replucking tonight. I seriously cannot stand them.

Let's just call this a cool tones week

I seem to be obsessed with cool tones this week... I think I'm gonna do a green look tomorrow to break it up. I forgot how beautiful Tilt is! This look is great, it's everything I wanted my last mermaid-esque look to be.

So I was inspired this morning by EdenBue's inspiration of my look... so I was inspired by myself? That sounds so... egotistical! I really loved this look though. Found a few errors in my photos that I corrected -- bit of mascara on my skin (I wonder how I get it there...), and sleepy dust on one of my eyes. Meh.

This looks awesome in person, I must say... as usual macro picks up every imperfection.

Bluesy Saturday

I used Mac Tilt, Ulta Mosaic, UD Peace, Mac Deep Truth, random silvery blue from L'Oreal HIP duo and Mac White Frost on my eyes, along with UD Zero liner and Collection 2000 glitter liner in Hustle. Mascara was Rimmel's Sexy Curves. For cheeks, I used Mac MSF in Petticoat. Last, for the lips, I used Mac Viva Glam Gaga with Perky lipglass over top.

This looks really good in person... I couldn't quite get the camera to capture it properly.

Best $2 Nail Polish EVER

This is on my mom... she has such lovely, long fingernails that I thought it would be good on her. Her poor hands are dry from slaving away at the sink :(

This polish is sick. Seriously. I may sell all of my other polishes and keep a black, purple, and this to put over top of them. ALL THE TIME.










































































Last two were taken indoors, and the last one was blurred to show the glitteryness.

This polish is amazing... and only $1.99! Available at Walgreens. It was a bit hard to find as my local Walgreens' staff is lazy and it was on a tiny stand labeled "St. Patrick's Day" with a hideous solid green polish. This thing needs to be in a huge gold display saying "BUY ME NOW"

I also think Sinfuls are available at Rite Aid, but whether they have this color, I honestly don't know. Good luck finding it! It's worth the hunt. This is over black but I have it over Sinful's Let's Talk and it's pretty too.

So excited. This came out amazing. Too bad I didnt photograph it earlier in the day, as the blue in the center is wearing off a little. Yay for cheap Revlon shadows. And I had a lovely spot in the center of my face...

I need to pluck my eyebrows, wow, it's sort of embarassing how lazy I've been.
Also, Watermelon Rind from China Glaze is fantastic. So is this unnamed sparkly blue polish from Sally's Girl.

This was just a scattering of colors I did literally in 15 minutes. I was like oooh, pretty color (apply), oooh another color (apply). I'm not a big fan of this look, but my boyfriend is making me post these once a week, so. This is what I've got!

So, no new hair for Wendy tonight :( Sadness.
