Lipstick Collection Swatches and... new hair!

I did my 100th post and didn't even notice. Well, happy 101st (hahahahaha, I typed "th" on the end of that at first) post to me!
I will also maybe be doing a giveaway soon. I'm just not sure what to use for it, lol.

I decided to swatch my small lipstick collection, as I wanted to see what I'm lacking in terms of color and finish, and also because I know you people love makeup porn, you dirty, dirty girls.

Here goes!

Mac Creme d'Nude - A lovely nude, it's probably my favorite of my collection.
Wet n Wild 547B - Another good nude, a bit on the frosty side
GOSH Darling - I need to wear this more, I will try RaeRae's method of using a pink liner
Mac Viva Glam Gaga - <3. That is all.

Wet n Wild 502A - Thought this was a dupe for Sandy B (next door). Obviously not.
Mac Sandy B - Lovely color, albeit a bit frosty.
Rimmel Crush - This is more orange in real life. I need to work on pulling this off.
Body Shop #11 (Plum) - Got it for free, and don't wear it much to be honest.

Rimmel Airy Fairy - It's okay, it looks better on my skin than my lips. I like the formula.
Maybelline Pink Please - A good "I don't know what to do on my lips" color, goes with anything.
Wet n Wild 511B - Can you see that I have a fair amount of these? lol. I think this was for my Gaga costume.
Wet n Wild 521A - Wanted it to be a dupe for Show Orchid... not really. Still a nice color.

Mac Thrills - Completely different in real life. Very, very pretty bronzey pink.
Cover Girl Fire Shine - My "red but not red" color. I need to get Viva Glam Cyndi =P
NYX Chaos - My red. MY red. :) It's so beautiful.
(Bottom) Milani Orangina (spelling?) - Got this on a whim. Love the formula on these... There was a lilac color with gold sparkle that I will go back and get as soon as I get off my lazy butt and trek to CVS.

I just realized I didn't include my Morgana Minerals samples, or the 1 Clinique lipstick I have. D'oh.

It has SO much more shape and movement now. I love it! Gotta get used to the short bangs. I think she intentionally cut them that short so that I would be prepared for when I do my fringe in the fall :)

FOTD: Day Three (Dramatic Dinosaurs)

This is by far my most dramatic look to date... I have no idea where this came from, just popped into my head last night.

I wish I could find a more opaque matte white... it's not quite as white as I wanted it, and the liner is a bit wonky. I ended up doing this look two ways -- double liner for photos and then I wiped the double bit off for work (it was a bit much as I had to wear glasses today... again)
I'll post photos of it both ways -- which do you like more?

Oh and it reminds me of dinosaurs. Don't ask.

FOTD: Day One

I will be doing a daily post of my FOTD for the 7 days... I will do this... I will do this... just gotta keep telling myself that! Next up will be a week of Morgana Minerals.

For this week, expect a lot of Bohemian and Acid palette looks.

For today's (technically yesterday's look), I was inspired by Eden Bue's use of Petrol Black from Barry M. I tried to use it a few days ago and looked like I got punched in the eye... this time, it came out beautiful!

Bluesy Saturday

I used Mac Tilt, Ulta Mosaic, UD Peace, Mac Deep Truth, random silvery blue from L'Oreal HIP duo and Mac White Frost on my eyes, along with UD Zero liner and Collection 2000 glitter liner in Hustle. Mascara was Rimmel's Sexy Curves. For cheeks, I used Mac MSF in Petticoat. Last, for the lips, I used Mac Viva Glam Gaga with Perky lipglass over top.

This looks really good in person... I couldn't quite get the camera to capture it properly.

How freaky is this? I get online at work after I photo'd this and see Marlena's latest look. I'm seriously creeped out. I planned this out last night.

Mac Face Chart: Love Lace

I am in looove with this look. Not as an everyday look but I am really loving the colors and the way it photographed. I think my camera finally got off of it's period.

Please note that I wasn't trying to copy the Love Lace look exactly... at all. I have nothing from the collection and just wanted to try it out for fun and photography purposes. Enjoy!

Monthly Favorites: Volume 1

Every other makeup person is doing it. So. Yeah.

- Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat (it's a base coat). I got this from Sally for $5.99, I believe. It's really good! It definitely prevents staining and I've noticed when combined with my Seche Vite topcoat, the nail polish can be peeled off in one chunk.
- Bath and Body works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin body spray. Yes, I know. I'm a whore for this shit.
- Victoria's Secret shimmer lotion in Love Spell. Oh my god is all that needs to be said.
- E.L.F. professional bronzing brush. I looked on their website for this and it's not the same one I have, mine is from Target and is black. I love this thing, seriously. It's amazing for blush and it was only $1!
- Rimmel blush in Pink Rose. Very pretty and sheer. Perfect for me... too bad it's discontinued.
- L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in Black Brown. I'm impressed with this mascara! It gives nice volume and length with minimal clumping on multiple coats.
- CoverGirl TruShine lipstick in Plum Shine. Gorgeous color, especially with Mac's dazzleglass in Funtabulous over top.
- Revlon matte eyeliner in #04, Pure White. Decent for the waterline.
- The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day/Night Cream. Just switched to this from my clean and clear moisturizer and I love it. It's cleared up the redness in my skin like crazy. My bottle is a bit old so I don't get the soothing effect, but I will definitely rebuy.
- China Glaze nail polish in Harmony. Gorgeous purple/silver metallic. Great staying power as well, think I wore it for 4 days with no chipping.
