Hello beautiful people - I'm Robyn and I blog over at Stay Beautiful. I'm very excited to be guest posting on Wendy's blog today as I actually get to meet her tomorrow! We are.... shock, horror.... going shopping!

Anyway, I thought for this post I thought I'd post a quick look that I wore to work, and then amp it up when I got home for a funkier, evening look.

Dead simple, but still fun with a hint of duochrome - what I like when I'm in a rush in the morning!

Please excuse my awful, awful hair in this post. I sunburnt my scalp on holiday, so no hair dye or blowdrying for me!

Not exactly rocket science - lots of liner, darken the crease, add a bit of fun and sparkle with a bright inner corner highlight and a brighter lip! Do any of you add to your makeup for the evening or do you re-do it?

Paramore Concert Makeup

Yeeeeeaaaah! I am still amped after the show. It was totally fricking awesome! I am impressed at Hayley -- she literally doesn't stop moving for the ENTIRE show. The only bad thing was that I got separated from my friend who happened to be holding onto my camera - so I have absolutely NO video footage or photos. I'm a little upset but I have the memory in my head!

I don't remember the exact order of the setlist, but they played: Ignorance, Brick by Boring Brick, Careful, Crushcrushcrush, Decode, Emergency, Feeling Sorry, For a Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic, Let the Flames Begin (they played this instead of My Heart, which made me sad, but holy sh*t it was amazing), Looking Up, Misery Business (which they pulled a kid on stage to sing with her on and also blew confetti EVERYWHERE), Misguided Ghost (acoustic), Playing God, Pressure, That's What You Get, The Only Exception, When It Rains (acoustic), Where the Lines Overlap (acoustic) and a Loretta Lynn song that I'm not sure of the name of.

Overall, great night even though I got no pics :( that does admittedly make me sad.

Anyway, onto the makeups!






































































So, funny story... I put on just mascara in the morning for work since I was going to be doing this afterwards, before the concert (at my work). I totally forgot any eye brushes. So this was done... with my fingers. Yes, I was THAT determined. I think it came out pretty awesome even though I couldn't blend out the orange at the top. It stayed put all night too! The blue underneath faded just a little, but for how hot and sweaty I was, it was good!

I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk as a base, then Beauty from the Earth's Lemon over top, then Electro-Koi from Fyrinnae (orange). Underneath is Zingy from Mac. I used Maybelline's Ultra Liquid Liner for my top liner. On cheeks is Stereo Rose, and on my lips is Boots lipstick in Rose Bud with NYX Chandelier gloss over top.

Graaaargghhh it was so awesome. That's it for today, guys! I'll be back tomorrow with my Dare to Wear haul.

I wanted to try a different eye shape today... I like how it came out but I can't get the two eyes even, so that's why there is a lack of macro'd close eye shots. I gotta fix it before I go out later!

Fyrinnae Haul!

Grrrrr, if anyone wants to see it, tell me... I'll edit it and get it up. Not gonna go through the trouble if no one cares. It was a Morgana Minerals/Fyrinnae video.

Herbivore is a lilac with green and teal sparkle.
Archmage is a sage green that is sometimes gray w/ silver sparkle
Dragonmagic is a dark green with emerald green sparkle
Chaotic Evil is a cool brightened pink with silver sparkle
Curiouser and Curiouser is a mid-toned blue with teal sparkle
Electro-Koi is a pastel orange with gold sparkle
Candy Coated is a brown-red with pink sparkle
Gryffonrider is a metallic gold with blueish sparkle
Freya is a dark metallic purple with mid-toned purple flash
Romantique is a pink gold gloss, very opaque

I can't really pick a favorite tbh! They're all so lovely. Dragonmagic is everything I want Mac's Humid to be when I use it. The gloss is Mac's Nymphette on crack!

I also picked up a full size Pixie Epoxy. I haven't used any of these except to swatch, and when I do a FOTD with them, I will talk about them as I use them. I am really looking forward to it -- they're so beautiful and sparkly!
