Hunger Games Inspired: Peeta

Next up is Peeta :)

I really struggled with a look for Peeta. They don't really talk about his clothes in the books and there wasn't much to take inspiration from on a superficial level. I thought about his character and personality and tried again. Katniss is "the girl on fire" and as he's her lover (on screen anyway), he has a bit of fire in him too. You see it later on in the series (I don't want to spoiler anyone). Thus, I wanted a look that incorporated fire without being obvious... a 'hidden' fire, so to speak. I used red eyeshadow mixed with brown to keep it more neutral and easy to wear. The orange/reds I used shimmer as the light shifts, sort of looking like fire (see bottom photo)... this is so much prettier in person!

I was also inspired by the use of the berry eyeliner in this look by Robyn:

- Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation in BR10
- Mac MSF Natural in Light Medium
- Maybelline Mousse concealer in Light
- Mac MSF in Semi Precious Crystal Pink

- Too Faced Shadow Insurance
- Revlon matte eyeshadow in Vintage Lace (lid)
- Mac eyeshadow in Amber Lights (crease)
- Mac eyeshadow in Coppering (outer crease)
- Red from 88 matte palette mixed with Mac GlamourCheck! (liner and crease)
- Jesse's Girl eye dust in Pixie Dust (inner tear duct)
- Maybelline One by One Mascara (black)

- Hard Candy Glossaholic in Fireball

Are you enjoying this series? Do you have any requests?
