  1. A video from Wendy!!! Yay! Thanks for the review!!! I hate it when there are minimum order amounts and high shipping too! I think I will pass on these brushes. Keep up the great work with the videos and the reviews!

  2. Lol at 'it's flat. It's FLAT'.

I would not be happy at all with their customer service. Keep chasing them. I'd email them with all of what you said in the video because it seems like email is the only thing they understand :/
It sucks that you got ripped off.

  3. Good review - I won't be buying from them any time soon!

  4. Haven't ordered and don't think I will now that I've watched this video. The biggest reason for me is the lack of customer service that you've experienced, that's just not acceptable. Thanks for the review!

  5. Ok, that Taklon brush looks like a paint brush...And $7 for shipping is insane! Such a shame that every brush is shit...I need a smudge brush bad...
They better fix this for you...The only way they could even save some customers would be to take care of it for you!
I still love my Sonia Kashuk brushes and some E.L.F. brushes are great!

  6. ummm the taklon detail brush... buy one from the art shop :p they work just as well and for less! probably even better quality.
i've been checking out crown brushes and i'm glad i haven't ordered anything. Thanks for the great review! I hate brushes that shed like crazy! and to think they have crappy customer service that is already a big NO NO in my book when it comes to buying stuff online

  7. I believe if you visit Michael's art paint brush department you can find some excellent brushes. Google "MAC brush dupes". At one time there was an excellent blog entry which had a good comparison list. Couldn't find it tonite but there are several posts out there which would probably be helpful. I use the Maxine's Mops plus a couple Loew Cornell brushes which are great dupes but can't tell the numbers as I don't have the brushes with me at the moment.

  8. I placed my order on Dec 30 for these brushes (based on good faith recommendation by Kandee Johnson) and they supposedly shipped on January 7. I have still not received them and have contacted their customer services four times via email and once on their website. No response yet and I am really frustrated!!! I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in their state and file a dispute through my credit card company if I don't hear from them by the end of the day today--I did mention to them the actions I would be taking. Can't believe their irresponsibility. Also mentioned to them they weren't getting favorable press on FB or Blogs. Help me spread the word! Thanks:)

  9. @northbendoutdoors: Did you ever get a tracking number? I think I got one after a couple of days, but I had to log back into the website to see them. That is really, really shady. They are doing to you exactly what they did to me, no response and then the second I threatened to file a complaint... oh look, a response. Crap company.

  10. I had a huge problem with Crown Brush. First off it took them a month to send my order and then they sent me one of the wrong brushes. I have sent them 3 emails about this and have gotten NO response. Completely unacceptable!

  11. @Astroa: I'm definitely considering reporting this company now...

  12. I had a similar experience to northbendoutdoors and Astroa... I didn't try to pursue the company or a refund because I was so irritated with their (lack of) customer service. I chalked this purchase up to a learning lesson. I'm just going to make sure I can touch and see (and take home with me!) brushes from now on.
