I just got Heroine in the post a few days ago, it really is in a league of it's own when it comes to brightness and true purpley-ness (making up words ftw)! Needless to say it's been stuck on my lips since I got it..
Good post, definitely a great reference for those with questions. Your lighting must have been better than mine when looking at the two because in yours it's clear Violetta (true to its name) is more violet and warmer, and Heroine tends more to a true purple.
This was just in natural light around 7pm, standing next to a window. I will say that when I walked into my bathroom, Violetta did look close to Heroine (even my husband said so).
MAC Up the Amp looks gorgeous and I did not know CG has a dupe for it! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome :) That CG line has a lot of Mac dupes actually!
DeleteI want Mac Violetta in my life.
ReplyDeleteYou do. You neeeeed it in your life.
