Guest post: Jessie's FOTD featuring Evil Shades, Darling Girl and The Chequered Lily

Hi there! My name is Jessie, and I blog at notamakeupsnob. I was absolutely delighted when Wendy invited me to do a guest post. She suggested a FOTD with (my now almost signature) purple brows and I was more than happy to oblige.

For more pictures and a list of the products I used to create this look, keep reading!

FACE
Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream 13
MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation NC15
NYX Powder Blush Peach

EYES
Urban Decay Sin Primer Potion
NYX Jumbo Pencil Black Bean
Evil Shades Glooming (lid)
The Chequered Lily Mrs Peacock (crease and lower lash line)
The Chequered Lily Ice Storm (inner corners of eyes)
MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation (brow bone)
Illamasqua Sophie Medium Pencil + MAC Blacktrack fluidline (waterline)
Collection 2000 Big Fake mascara
Sugarpill Poison Plum + BFTE Mix & Fix to fill in brows

LIPS
MAC subculture lip liner
MAC Angel lipstick
Darling Girl Cosmetics Pinky Swear liquid kiss

Believe it or not, my inspiration for this look was actually Kim Kardashian! I love her signature smoky eye but I wanted to try something a bit more colourful and using a few indie products. If you plan on recreating this look, I seriously recommend that you apply your foundation LAST. Evil Shades "Glooming" is an absolutely stunning shadow, but the fallout is pretty colossal. Just use a baby wipe to clean up any stray shadow or sparkles and you're good to go!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and thanks again to Wendy for letting me loose on her fantastic blog :)
