FOTD: Flirty... Twilight? (Burgundy)

Quick post as I've gotta run and do some grocery shopping, this was a quick look I tossed together with my new Ulta goodies. Honestly, I think the look is a bit of a fail; the taupe didn't want to show, the burgundy shade isn't as pigmented as I hoped but it's still pretty, and the gel liner is quite possibly the weirdest consistency EVER. It's like... mousse... in eyeliner form. Strange but pretty decent pigmented. Will do a better review later!

    I see what you mean about the taupe, it's very subtle in the pics, but I think this is a lovely wearable look--no fail! ;)

    Can't wait to see what else you think of the "mousse-y" gel eyeliner, that sounds intriguing...

    It's definitely not as bad as you made it out to be, but I do understand and appreciate what you're saying. I have looks like that and it's frustrating. Fortunately though we're typically our harshest critic and I think that you pulled off a really hard shade to wear. A lot of people would look like they had a bad case of pink eye or black eyes wearing that deep burgundy shade on their eyes. Have fun grocery shopping!

    I wouldn't call it a failure at all, I think you look very pretty! Also is it just me or do you look more tanned than usual?

    I friggin love that grey gel liner with the pinky tones you've got going on. The crease shade is also lovely <3 such a nice sheen.
