FOTD: Viva Glam Nicki

I've been meaning to do a FOTD with this lipstick but haven't had a chance until now! This is sort of a dual purpose look as I also wanted to do something with only one eyeshadow to show that it can be interesting. Technically I used a cream shadow as a base but there's only one powder eyeshadow on top as the lid, crease and highlight shades.

I don't know why my right eyebrow always looks messed up in pictures... both brows look even in person!

FOTD: Gorgeous Patina

The title is appropriate because Mac Patina eyeshadow is in fact GORGEOUS. I can't believe I never bought previously and it sunk lower and lower on my 'to buy' list. My husband bought it for me for my birthday, along with Gorgeous Gold, so I thought I'd use them in a look together.

I have to say that this may become my go-to "I don't know what to wear" look, at least for a while. Gorgeous Gold has the most lovely green shift, that actually shows on the eye, and Patina (which is a bronzey weird taupe shade) compliments it perfectly. I used a shade to darken the crease from the Wet n Wild Vanity palette, but you can just as easily use Mac Twinks if you want to stick with Mac, or any metallic brown with a slight purple tinge.
