CoverGirl CG Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer

Another quickie review!

I have to admit that I was developing a slight problem... an addiction to my Studio Fix powder.

I would be doing a quick 5-minute, out the door look, and would say to myself "Don't reach for the powder..." and I would anyway. And 5 minutes later, I'm completing my application of my Studio Fix powder, and then I kick myself because I said I wouldn't wear foundation today.

I'm trying to ween myself because I have decent skin -- albeit my slight rosacea and the fact that I get heat rash on my cheeks very easily. It's miles better than it was even a few months ago.

If you saw my review on the Clinique Sheer Moisture Tint -- you saw that I gave into my addiction and reached for my powder anyway. It's a little scary and I think it's slightly compulsive. The coverage just wasn't there and it actually made me look greasy, which on my dry skin is hard to do.

I picked up the CoverGirl TM last night at Target for a mere $6.29... and couldn't be happier.

I got it in the shade fair to light and it's pretty perfect for me. Before putting it on my face, I rubbed a bit into my hand and got sort of scared that it was too light. However, once I put it on my face, it was great. Pretty much a perfect match.

This has a nice, even coverage for a tinted moisturizer. Definitely light coverage. It evens out my skin without making it look like I have makeup on, which is the sort of look I love. Also, no dewiness! No oilyness! I look nice and matte. I don't notice a smell or anything (like the horrible Clinique stuff...) and really can't find a negative about this. It has an spf of 15, which is great, and I combine it with my Redness Solutions base, which is an additional spf15.

I'll definitely be wearing this to Kings Dominion on Sunday... and won't have to worry about sweating powder! Yay!

I thought I would want to reach for my SF, and today I can honestly say that I used a little to set my undereye concealer and around my nose... and that's it.

It feels good. This product is definitely worth the $6!
